The Daewoo LeMans was introduced to the marketplace in the year 1986 as a subcompact car. It is a model that was assembled in South Korea, Poland, Romania and Uzbekistan. The Daewoo LeMans is the successor of the Daewoo Maepsy and the Pontiac Acadian. Used Daewoo LeMans cars are not too expensive and the older models are rather cheap. The LeMans is available in three body styles: the three door hatchback, four door sedan and the five door hatchback, all of which were built using the GM T platform. The Daewoo LeMans is related to the Opel Kadett E. A second generation of this model is being assembled in Cairo, Egypt and this particular version is available with a 1.5 litre l4 engine. This unit is also known as the Daewoo Cielo. Used Daewoo LeMans cars are quite popular in Germany, France and the United Kingdom. This is especially the case for the newest models. Used Daewoo Cielo cars are also very popular. You can find lots of used Daewoo LeMans cars on sale in Europe as well across the pond in the United States – even if the brand is not as popular over there.
